For the
first time a full 2-day programme of KBM sessions was offered at the
2004 conference, with the addition of user training sessions on vendor
scheduling and customer returns.
The
majority of delegates stayed for the whole conference, and were treated
to the first detailed exposition of SSA Global's modular and convergent
future ERP product strategy, as well as the KBM 2.3 release details, and
a throughly entertaining gala dinner evening - with Mike Greenough even
joining the action at the KBM tables for a while. Those KBM users
unable to attend missed out on the best event so far staged.
With the
French KBM user group meeting the day before, overseas KBM interest was
provided by the ever charming Irish and by IDSI of Tennessee, presenting
their Orbesoft barcoding and RFID software - to be distributed in Europe
by Cemoc Limited - with a case study at leading US KBM user, TRW
