The May 2003 User Group event in Leeds, England
was the first formal gathering of local KBM users for several years. Most
major users of KBM and SIM/400 provided delegates, who enjoyed a full
programme of keynote speeches from software vendor SSA GT’s top management,
as well as presentations from overseas user groups, and user case studies. Delegates also welcomed the clear assurances given by SSA GT about their commitment to future development of the KBM software, and the recognition of the KBM PHD configurator as the leading solution for custom manufacture. |

Review the new features and functions in the latest release of KBM (Version 2.2). This session will cover future product direction and the enhancements planned for the next release. A question and answer session will provide opportunity for European users to raise desired product enhancements for consideration by SSA GT developers.

This is a session for all users of SIM/400 and KBM to determine the level of interest in re-establishing a local user group and, if appropriate, to agree upon outline plans for moving forward. Representatives of other successful user groups at the Conference will be on hand to share their experiences and advice, and a statement of support from the US-based International Data3 Interest Group (IDIG) will be presented.
